Classroom Environments and Materials:

We often refer to the classroom environment as a “third teacher” in early childhood classrooms. This workshop will provide a framework for thinking about how to prepare and maintain safe, beautiful, and engaging spaces and materials for learning and being together. We will also talk about visual scaffolds (area signs, turns lists) and other strategies for supporting children to make choices and have ownership of their classroom.
