Neighborhood Villages is Turning 10!

For the last decade, Neighborhood Villages has worked alongside educators, families, advocates, funders, and government to solve the child care crisis.

Together, we've built one of the most comprehensive early childhood ecosystems in Massachusetts. It delivers stability and resources to caregivers who desperately need support, and it proves that a functioning child care system is possible.

Now, we are taking a moment to celebrate how far we've come and look to what's ahead at the Neighborhood Villages Block Party, our 10th anniversary celebration, on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 6pm at the Renaissance Boston Seaport.

We are currently seeking sponsors for the Neighborhood Villages Block Party, who will champion solutions to some of the greatest challenges in early education and care, and helping us build an early childhood system worthy of the families it serves.

Tickets will go on sale in August!

Our Impact

  • We work inside child care programs, equipping educators with the coaching, curriculum, and professional development they need to support every child in their care.

  • We give caregivers and program staff the tools to connect families to emergency funds and the wraparound services that make stable care possible.

  • We've distributed almost one million free diapers to families in need through a statewide network of 90+ partner organizations.

  • We drive the policy and research agenda that turns individual solutions into systemic change, because the families we serve deserve a system that works, not a workaround.

100% of what we raise will support Neighborhood Villages' mission to transform child care centers into ecosystems of support, where the educators and caregivers closest to children and families have what they need to connect them with high-quality education, health services, nutrition, and essential goods throughout the year.
