On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Neighborhood Villages, the Coolidge Corner Theatre, and partners from the early education and racial justice communities presented a special film event on the acclaimed documentary, “Through the Night.”

On January 14, 2021 Neighborhood Villages hosted WBUR’s Kathleen McNerney for a conversation on the need to make publicly funded preventative Covid-19 testing available to early education and after-school programs.

On July 20, 2020, Neighborhood Villages and March Like a Mother for Black Lives hosted a live conversation with U.S. Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley on the critical need to elevate the voices of Black mothers and solve the child care crisis.

On June 15, 2020, Neighborhood Villages hosted U.S. Representative Katherine Clark and Boston City Councilor Andrea Campbell for a conversation on the impact that failure to fix child care will have on women, especially women of color.
